Smoked Side Marker and
Bumper Marker Lights

I used the Testors 2949 transparent black window tint spray paint and the instructions detailed at VWEnthusiast. NOTE: The instructions don't say anything about putting on a clearcoat. So I didn't. Well, they held up pretty good all winter (did this back in November of 2000). Well this summer (2001) I started using a new Turtlewax Bug and Tar remover, and I noticed that it must contain some kind of alcohol, because it started to take off my tint off the lights. I'm going to have to redo my lights, and give them a clearcoat this time around.
